Lora Rae (Janey) Schaper

Lora Rae Schaper, 60 of Osceola, IN., passed away at 10:15 a.m. Saturday, December 6, 2025 at Trailpoint Village in South Bend, IN.

Lora was born on January 6, 1965 in Elkhart, IN., to James R. and Shirley A. (Current) Janey.

On August 24, 2007 in South Bend Lora married Ralf Schaper. Ralf survives along with her children; Jeremy Watson, Eric Watson, Shayla (Andrew) Thomas and Destiny Bermea, a brother in law, Matt Willard and her Aunt Sharon (Jim) Weaver.

Lora was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Linda Elsworth.

Cremation will take place with a graveside service to take place at Prairie Street Cemetery in Elkhart.
