Loretta E. McWilliams-Mitchell

Loretta E. McWilliams-Mitchell, 98 years old, passed away at 9:40 a.m. on Thursday, December 15, 2022 at Ridgewood Terrace, Madisonville, KY.  Loretta was born on June 11, 1924 in Salyersville, KY to the late Lacy and Ida (Montgomery) Conley.  She has lived most of her life in Indiana.  On August 19, 1943 in Walkerton, IN, Loretta and Clyde McWilliams were united in marriage.  Clyde preceded her in death on June 2, 1967.   She was also preceded in death by six brothers and three sisters.

Loretta is survived by her two daughters, Rhonda (Vincent) Petroccelli of Wallkill, NY and Regenia (Craig) Buckner of Madisonville, KY; four grandchildren, Chad (Christy) Buckner, Matthew (Jennifer) Buckner, Gina Detoro, and Sgt. Felecia (D.J.) Petroccelli-Henry; and nine great grandchildren, Vincent, Nicole, Alec, Angela, Jackson, Taylor, Luis, Evan and Reece.  Loretta is also survived by her two sisters, Leona Pletcher of South Bend and Naomi Niemier of Plymouth, IN.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 22, 2022 at the Palmer Funeral Home, within the Palmer Community Complex, 601 N. Michigan Street, Lakeville.  Graveside services and burial will follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, South Bend.  Friends may visit with the family beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
