Lori Baker Obituary

Lori Ann Baker, 42 years old, passed away at 10:20 p.m. on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving family.  Lori was born on March 8, 1979 in South Bend, was a graduate of LaVille Jr.-Sr. High School, and has lived the past 15 years in Plymouth, IN.  On August 23, 2003 in South Bend, Lori Ann Nicodemus and Michael L. Baker were united in marriage.

Along with Mike, her loving husband, Lori is survived by their special girl, Lacey; her parents, Philip and Tandy Nicodemus of Lakeville; her in-laws, Carroll and Brenda Baker of Plymouth, and Kenny and Penny Stafford of Walkerton; and her brother, Denny Nicodemus of Fremont, CA.  Lori is also survived by many extended family who loved her very much.

Lori loved with her whole heart, and it showed through her smile and the twinkle she always had in her eye.  She loved shopping and makeup as much as she loved a good travel adventure, camping in the dunes and target shooting at Thanksgiving (where she usually outshot the men in her family.) Lori appreciated spending time with her husband and family, and she knew how to make moments and memories out of each and every day. Her heart was big, her strength and loyalty immeasurable, and her husband and family take comfort in knowing they will see her again in Heaven.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 11, 2021 at the Palmer Funeral Home, within the Palmer Community Complex, 601 N. Michigan Street, Lakeville. Burial will take place at Oak Hill Cemetery, Plymouth.  Friends may visit with the family from 5:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 10, and from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
