Lori Wright Obituary

Lori D. (Kendall) Wright, 64, of Lakeville passed away suddenly on July 15, 2026.

Lori was born on January 18, 1962, in South Bend to the late George Kendall and Patricia Britton.

Lori worked for a number of years at AM General.  She served her community as a member of the Union North Ambulance Service and a member of the North Township-LaPaz Fire Territory Ladies Auxiliary. 

Lori married Lynn Wright on July 7, 2017, sharing 9 years of marriage.  Lynn and Lori attended Saint Dominic Church in Koontz Lake until COVID, and then faithfully watched online services every Sunday during and after COVID.

Lori loved spending time with her husband Lynn, all of her grandchildren, and her children.  She was renowned for her baked treats including making cut out cookies with her granddaughters at Christmas, her delicious apple cake, and her brownies. She was immensely proud of her children and their accomplishments, no matter how big or small. 

Lori is survived by her husband, Lynn, her children; Ann (Robert) Mills and Nathan (Holly) Skoviak as well as her stepchildren; Jeremy (Hillary) Wright, Mindy (Kevin) Christy, Sarah (Paul) Powers, Ryan Wright, and Stephanie (Ryan Holston) Wright and her grandchildren; Allison Skoviak, Brielle Mills, Serenity Mills, Lawrence Wood, Lincoln Holston, Jackson Powers, Aidan Wright, Maddy Wright, Kyler Christy, Acelyn Christy, and Addison Christy.  Her sisters also survive; Karen (Al) Molnar, Diane Kendall, and Mary Kendall.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

The family will be hosting a celebration of life at “The Barn” Lakeville Community Center, 214 W Patterson St Lakeville, IN 46536, on July 31st 2026 from 3:00-7:00 PM.
