Lynette S. (Clardy) Fye

Lynette “Lynn” S. Fye, age 70, residing in South Bend, Indiana passed away at 6:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at her home. Lynn was born on August 18, 1951, in Mishawaka, Indiana to the late James William Clardy, Sr. and Mary Anne (Brumbaugh) Clardy and remained a lifelong resident. Lynn was employed with General Vascular Surgeons in the South Bend Clinic.

On April 17, 1994, in South Bend, Indiana she married Gregory A. Fye, who survives.  Along with her loving husband, Greg, Lynn is survived by four daughters, Laurie (Tim) Young of Mishawaka, Shelly (Marty Dobransky) Jinkins of St. James City, Florida, Melissa (Mike) St. Amand of Jimtown, Indiana and Jamie Frechette of South Bend; two sons, Eric (Courtney) Bradley of Jimtown, Indiana and Matt (Tina) Fye of Lawton, Michigan; thirteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.  Also surviving are her sister, Debbie Florey of Buchanan, Michigan and two brothers, Curtis Clardy of Mishawaka and James William (Teri) Clardy, Jr. of Robertsdale, Alabama.  Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Ruth Ann Phiscator and her brother-in-law, Ted Florey. 

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 14, 2022, at Palmer Funeral Home – River Park Chapel, 2528 Mishawaka Ave., South Bend, IN. Entombment will take place at Fairview Cemetry, Mishawaka.  Friends may visit with the family from Noon on Friday until the time of services.
