Marcella Jean Kloska, 87, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, July 21, 2026. Born in South Bend, Indiana on July 12, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Hattie Rybicki.
On July 4, 1959, in South Bend, Marcella was united in marriage to Robert Joseph Kloska, who preceded her in death on March 9, 2020. Together they shared a long and devoted life built on family, hard work, and love.
Marcella worked for many years as a machinist with Niles Precision. Outside of work, she enjoyed crocheting, trips to the casino, and cheering on her favorite teams—Notre Dame, the Chicago Cubs, and the Chicago Bears. She loved cooking big holiday meals for her family, always reminding her daughter how to make each dish “just right.”
She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Sadler, and her son, James Kloska; grandchildren Stephanie Baich and Ashley Collins; and great-grandchildren Brianna Lewis, William Collins, and Makenna Gordon.
Marcella was preceded in death by her daughter, Sherry Kloska and grandson Shane Collins, along with two sisters and two brothers.
