Marcia A. Romanowski

Marcia A. Romanowski, 76 years old, passed away at 3:29 a.m. on Friday, October 27, 2023, at Ernestine M. Raclin House, Center for Hospice in Mishawaka. Marcia was born on December 19, 1946, to the late Thomas and Sophie (Walczak) Romanowski in St. Joseph County. Where she remained a lifelong resident. Marcia worked and retired from Hubbell/RACO Manufactuing after 35 plus years if service.
Marcia is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Angelique and Tom Whitworth of Mishawaka; and her two sisters, Anne Romanowski of Warsaw and Nancy (Doug) Palmer of South Bend. Nieces and nephews Jackie (Chris) Jagger, Jared (Britney)Rouch, April (Cory) Hamel, Joseph Bromley, Justin (Carly) Bromley, Andrew (Elisabeth) Jackson. Several great nieces and nephews as well as family of choice, friends neighbors and children that considered her a second mother or grandma.
All who knew Marcia were blessed to have received the gift of her acceptance and unconditional love. She never met a stranger and loved each and every person instantly. Earning the nickname of "love ambassador". One of her many gifts was to see the positive in people and she shared that compliment with each of them.
Marcia appreciated the little things in life Such as a warm evening breeze, a pretty view of Lake Michigan, a good friend and always a loyal pet.
Marcia was deeply loved. We are heartbroken by the loss of our mother, sister, auntie, and friend. Private services will be held. Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, South Bend is assisting the family.
