Maribeth S. (Maloof) Presnal

Maribeth (Maloof) Presnal, of Granger, IN, passed away at her home with her family by her side, at the age of 56. She was born on June 19, 1965 in Indianapolis, IN, to Shelby Maloof (Chapdelaine) and the late Phillip Maloof. On July 31, 1987 in Indianapolis, she was united in marriage to E. Mike Presnal Jr.

She was a 1983 graduate of Bishop Chatard High School and a 1990 graduate of Indiana University School of Nursing. Maribeth was employed by Memorial Hospital of South Bend between 1990-2017 where she was Director of Nursing and held a variety of nursing positions. 

Maribeth is survived by her mother, Shelby (Maloof) Chapdelaine of Indianapolis; brother, Mark Maloof (Aliceann) of Indianapolis; husband, Mike Presnal and their four children: Andrew Presnal of Mission, KS; Sam Presnal of Granger; Lucy Presnal of Granger; and Michael Presnal (Natalia) of Grand Rapids, MI. Maribeth was preceded in death by her father, Phillip Maloof, and her brother, Michael Maloof.

Maribeth was an active member of St. Thérèse, Little Flower Catholic Church where she participated in a variety of ministries.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 17, 2021 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 7200 Sarto Drive, Indianapolis, IN. Friends may visit with the family at the church in Indianapolis beginning at 10:30 a.m. until the start of Mass. The family respectfully requests that attendees wear masks to protect the health of compromised individuals.

A celebration of life will also be held in South Bend, Indiana, at a future date.
