Marilyn Deferbrache Obituary

Marilyn Martha Deferbrache, 85, residing in South Bend, passed away on Tuesday, September 7, 2021, in her home. She was born September 16, 1935, in South Bend to the late Casmiere John and Josephine (Lupa) Witucki and remained a lifelong area resident.
 
Marilyn was married to Ronald LaRue Deferbrache, who preceded her in death on October 22, 2017. She is survived by her daughter, Faith Ann (Christopher) Moore of Lakeville, IN; sons, Cory Andrew Deferbrache of South Bend and Cullen Robert (Janet) Deferbrache of Indianapolis; and four grandchildren, Sunshine, Hailey, Crystal and Graham; as well as many great grandchildren.
 
Marilyn graduated from South Bend Central High School and earned her associate degree in nursing from Southwestern University of Michigan. She was employed by Healthwin as an LPN prior to retirement.
 
Memorial services for Marilyn will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday, November 17, 2021, in the Palmer Funeral Home – Hickey Chapel, 17131 Cleveland Road, South Bend, IN. Friends may visit with the family for one hour prior to services on Wednesday in the funeral home.
