Mark David Gerard

Mark David Gerard passed away on March 16, 2026, in South Bend, at the age of 69. Born on July 23, 1956, in Mishawaka, Mark left an indelible mark on everyone whose path he crossed.

Raised in a close-knit family, Mark grew up in Mishawaka, with his loving parents, Paul and Mary (Buell) Gerard. He shared a special bond with his brothers, Paul, who is married to Connie, and Dennis, who is married to Elaine. 

Mark attended Mishawaka High School. Soon after graduating, he embarked on a fulfilling career in manufacturing, working in production. Throughout his career, Mark was known for his dedication and a collaborative spirit that lifted the morale of those around him. 

Beyond his professional endeavors, one of Mark’s passions was working out and lifting weights. Fitness was not just a hobby to Mark but a source of joy and a way to build resilience. To him, maintaining a healthy lifestyle was a testament to living life to the fullest. 

Mark’s absence will be deeply felt by all who had the chance to know him, yet his spirit will live on in the countless stories and cherished memories shared by his family and friends. As we remember Mark, let us celebrate the thoughtful and friendly person he was, and let us carry forward his legacy of kindness and strength.
