Mary Ann (Stallings) Pennington

Mary Ann (Stallings) Pennington, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on February 7, 2026, in Mishawaka, IN, at the age of 66. Born on November 4, 1959, in Evansville, IN, to the late John and Georgia (Wilhite) Stallings, Mary lived a life marked by love, hard work, and dedication to her family.

Mary grew up in Evansville surrounded by her family, including her parents and her siblings, Faye and John Jr., who both precede her in death.

On May 23, 1982, Mary married Jeffrey Pennington, and they shared 43 years of marriage. Together, they welcomed three daughters: Amanda Coppins, Molly (Alexander) Hendershot, and Julie Pennington. The joy of her life deepened with the arrival of her grandchildren, Sophia, William, Maxwell, and Lucas.

At this time per Mary’s wishes there will be no services. Palmer Funeral Home – Bubb Chapel is honored to be assisting the family with final arrangements.
