Mary Jane Willoughby, 68, passed away on Saturday, May 1, 2021 in the Raclin House at the Center for Hospice after a lengthy battle with cancer. She fought the good fight.
Mary Jane was born on October 22, 1952 in Hillsdale County, Michigan to the late Leland Dale and Pauline L. (Hagaman) Fisk. She graduated from Camden-Frontier School in Camden, MI in 1970.
On October 19, 1974, Mary Jane married Lawrence C. Willoughby. Together they enjoyed 46 years of marriage. Mary Jane is survived by her husband, Larry; son, David (Julie) Willoughby; daughter, Janet (Joseph) Robertson; grandchildren, Jules and Nolan Willoughby, and Veronica Robertson; sister, Gail (Mark) Caldwell; brother, John (Dawn) Fisk; and several nieces, nephews, and great- nieces and nephews. She also had a great grandchild on the way.
Mary Jane worked in several office positions. She also touched many lives while she worked as a House Mom for Hannah’s House. Mary Jane was a fanatic about garage sales. She even rented an RV to go Garage Saling. Most of all, Mary Jane loved her grandchildren and family.
Visitation will be from 6 pm to 8 pm on Friday, May 7, 2021 and 10 am to 11 am on Saturday May 8, 2021 in St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church in South Bend. A Funeral Service will be celebrated at 11 am on Saturday, May 8, 2021 in the Church. Inurnment will follow in the Church’s Cemetery.
The service will also be viewable on the church’s website www.saintmichaelsb.org.
