Although I never had the opportunity to meet Mike, his son Brian is one of my best friends. I wanted to extend my sincerest sympathy to the entire Nufer family for this tragic loss.

Our sympathy to The Nufer Family. Mike was a good friend during our tenure with The Indiana State Police. He was and always will be a Troopers Trooper. I served as Mike's Firearms Instuctor at District 21. He was an excellent master of his firearm. Always proud of him for his accomplishments. He will be missed dearly!

Though I last saw Mike when he was a young boy, I have kept in touch with my cousin Louise over these many years and had the priveledge of meeting his wonderful son Brian while in Florida this past summer. I am so very sorry to hear of Mike's passing and pray that they will find peace through the love of their family and friends.
