Michelle R Dorsey

Michelle Renee Dorsey, 54, went to Paradise on December 16th, 2025, where she now awaits the return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and is reunited with our dear loved ones.

Michelle was born on February 27, 1971, to Barbara Dorsey Jones and William Shannon. She went on to have two children, Brooklyn Renee Johnson and Brandon Christopher Taylor.

Michelle loved the Lord deeply. She had a gift for creating beautiful crafts and artwork that filled her home with warmth and joy. She was an inspiring and dedicated school teacher at Harrison Elementary who truly loved her students, and they loved her just as much. Michelle was a light and a voice of wisdom and encouragement to everyone around her, and now that same light shines brightly in Paradise.

Michelle was predeceased by her aunts and uncles. She is survived by her mother, Barbara Dorsey Jones; her daughter, Brooklyn Renee Johnson; her son, Brandon Christopher Taylor; and her son-in-law, Jonah Johnson.

We patiently wait to reunite with our beautiful mother and daughter in Paradise.

At this time per Michelle’s wishes there will be no services. Palmer Funeral Home - Bubb Chapel is honored to be assisting the family with final arrangements.
