Michelle Duncan Obituary

Michelle Duncan, 56, of Plymouth, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, September 10, 2020. Michelle was born on May 29, 1964 in Lafayette, IN to William and Sharon (Scott) Duncan.

Michelle was a beautiful soul who took the challenges that life gave her with stride.  She always dreamed of being married and having a wedding of her own one day.  She had been part of the Huntington, Indiana Pathfinder family since 1984.  She was employed by Ken Koat for 6 years.  She then volunteered at the Quayle Museum for over 20 years, and later delivered homebound meals for a number of years.  Michelle was blunt, honest, and hard working.  She was strong and wanted to do things on her own and in her own way.  She loved life and made the most of it, while always making sure she was the center of attention.  She was a girly girl that loved vibrant colors and patterns and loved having her hair and nails done regularly.  She told great stories, not to mention that she had this amazing ability to know what was going on with every soap opera that there was, even if she didn't watch those shows.  She loved spending time with friends watching Harry Potter, and Grey's Anatomy was a special evening that was not to be interrupted.  She was involved with, and participated in Special Olympics, earning many medals over the years.  She loved to bowl and was truly dedicated to her bowling night.

She is survived by her parents William & JoAnne Duncan of Lakeville, and mother Sharon Duncan of Illinois along with her sister Beth (Kurt) Marohn of Plymouth, IN, her niece, Brooke Marohn and nephew Jordan Anderson also of Plymouth, IN.
