Michelle Ann (Heynssens) Miller

Michelle Ann Heynssens-Miller, a spirited and gentle soul, passed away peacefully on September 23, 2023, in her hometown of South Bend, Indiana. Born on May 19, 1957, to the late George and Patricia (Block) Heynssens, Michelle's life was marked by her unwavering dedication to her family, her career, and her community.

Michelle, known for her vibrant spirit and gentle demeanor. She was a loving mother to her two children, Erin (Jeremy) Miller-Adams and Nathan Miller, who will forever cherish her memory. Michelle was also a beloved sister to Pam Fischer and Sheryl Howard, who will remember her for her kindness, her laughter, and her unwavering support. As a grandmother to Zander and Emma Holbrook and Bella, Kaley, Carson, and Chloe Miller, she was a source of wisdom and love, always ready with a comforting word or a warm hug. Michelle married Donald Miller December 23, 1986 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He preceded her in death in 2009.

Michelle's life partner, Patrick Donovan, was a constant source of support and love in her life. Their partnership was marked by mutual respect, shared dreams, and a deep love that enriched both their lives. Patrick will remember Michelle for her strength, her compassion, and her unwavering commitment to their shared life.

Michelle's life was marked by her commitment to education and her professional achievements. She earned a bachelor’s degree in business and went on to have a successful career in Property Management at Springwise, where she was known for her dedication, her work ethic, and her ability to inspire those around her. Even after her retirement, Michelle remained involved in her community, always ready to lend a hand or share her expertise.

A private memorial service will be held.  If lieu of flowers Memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association and the American Heart association.
