Nancy May Bone

Nancy May Bone, 62, of Elkhart, IN passed away at 9:53 p.m. Friday, July 17, 2015 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka, IN.  She was born on December 29, 1952 in South Bend, IN to Alvie and Helen (Crandall) Childress. 

Nancy is survived by two sons, Travis J. (Kari) Bone of Goshen, IN and Stacy A. Bone of Mishawaka, IN; two grandchildren, Taran and Keegan Bone; two brothers, James A. (Maureen) Childress of North Liberty, IN and Dan L. (Heidi) Childress of Mishawaka, IN and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Amanda Bone; sister, Alice Kwist and brother, David Childress.

Nancy was a lifelong area resident.  She retired from Aramark after twenty-eight years.

A Memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, July 23, 2015 at Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan St. South Bend, IN.   Friends may visit with the family one hour prior.  Burial will take place at Riverview Cemetery, South Bend following the service.
