Nancy Lee Morrison

Nancy Lee Morrison, 76, passed away on July 18, 2021 in Indianapolis, IN. Nancy was born on April 17, 1945 in Arkansas to Roosevelt and Rosie Lee (Wilson) Lacy.

In December 1966, Nancy was united in marriage to Mr. Bennie James Morrison, who preceded her in death. Nancy was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Left to cherish Nancy’s memories are her children: Angie (Robert Grant) Lacy of Mishawaka, Carla Morrison-Swift of Indianapolis, Norma (Morrison) Sloan of Fayetteville, NC, Harry Lee (Sandra Collins) Lacy of Indianapolis; granddaughters she raised as daughters: Hallie Celessa Weymon and Ashley V. Morrison, both of South Bend; five additional grandchildren: Ralph D. (Misty) Richmond, Jr., China (Richard) Owens, Jasmine Swift, Antoine D. Sloan and Ky’ara Sloan; 16 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren, with one on the way; as well as a host of extended family and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, Nancy was preceded in death by 20 siblings and a grandson, Andy D. Richmond, Sr.

Services for Mrs. Nancy Morrison will be held on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Greater Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, 206 S Falcon St, South Bend, IN 46619. Friends may call on the family from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM prior to services at the church. Pastor Larry Davidson will officiate.
