Norma J. Kronewitter, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 9, 2023, at Raclin House in Mishawaka, Indiana. Born on October 4, 1930, in South Bend, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Julius and Helen Brahlek.

Norma was a devoted mother to her daughters, Nancy and Barbara Kronewitter, and her son, Don Kronewitter, and a loving grandmother to Jacob Krekelas. She was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Sue Kronewitter, her grandson, Seth Krekelas, her husband Jerrold Kronewitter, and her brother Jack Brahlek. Norma is also survived by her sister, Marlene (Pete) Johnson, and her brother, James (Theresa) Brahlek.

A lifelong learner, Norma earned her R.N. and Master's degrees from Indiana University and went on to have a fulfilling career as a teacher and school nurse for the South Bend Community School Corporation. She was passionate about her work and dedicated to the well-being of her students.

Norma was an avid reader and took great pleasure in expanding her knowledge through literature. Her love for reading was evident in her collection of books, which she enjoyed sharing with her family and friends. She was also a lover of nature and found solace in the beauty of the outdoors.
