Pamela Sue Janowiak, affectionately known as Pamm to her friends and family, passed away peacefully on December 5, 2025, at her home in Granger, Indiana. Born on November 11, 1956, in South Bend, Indiana, Pamm's life was a testament to her unwavering spirit and the love she shared with those around her.
Pamm grew up in South Bend, the cherished daughter of Anna (Smith) Malone Williams of South Bend, In. and the late Robert F. Malone. Her early years were filled with the warmth of a close-knit family, a theme that would resonate throughout her life. She later found her soulmate in Joseph Janowiak, and together they built a life rich in love and companionship. Their union was blessed with three wonderful children: Kelsey (James) Arthur of Columbus, In., Keegan Putz of Mishawaka, In., and Cody Janowiak of South Bend, In., who brought immense joy to Pam's life.
A devoted mother, Pamm's love knew no bounds. Her children were her pride and joy, and she extended that love to her precious granddaughter, Quinn, who was the light of her life. Pamm's nurturing heart also embraced her siblings, Cindy (Charles) Brenneman and Robert (Margaret) Malone, with whom she shared an unbreakable bond.
Pamm's professional life was marked by dedication and excellence. She spent over 25 years as a technician at Crown International audio manufacturing, where her work ethic and commitment to quality were evident to all who knew her. After a fulfilling career, she retired from the Home Goods department store, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and reliability.
Beyond her professional achievements, Pamm was a beacon of love and friendship. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, and friend. Her home was a hub of warmth and laughter, especially when she was surrounded by family and friends. Pamm had a special place in her heart for her granddaughter Quinn, with whom she shared countless cherished moments.
Pamm's interests were as diverse as they were heartfelt. She was an avid pet lover, a passion that was reflected in the care she provided to her furry companions. Her creative spirit found an outlet in crafting, a hobby that brought her immense satisfaction. Pamm also relished the simple pleasure of sitting around her pool, engaging in lively conversations with her friends, and basking in the joy of togetherness.
Keeping with Pamm’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a celebration of life at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Humane Society of St. Joseph County 2506 Grape Rd. Mishawaka, In., 46545.
