Patricia Ann Branson, 92, of Mishawaka, IN, passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at Creekside Village, leaving behind a legacy of faith, kindness, and devoted service to her family, church, and community.
She was born on October 2, 1933, in Osceola, IN, to the late Joseph and Grace (Bostley) Haas. Patricia was raised with strong values that shaped the course of her life, and she carried those values with grace and humility throughout her years. She was known by those who loved her as a faith-filled, friendly, and kind woman whose gentle spirit touched many lives.
Patricia was a devoted member of Highland Park Baptist Church and was proud to be one of its founding members. Her faith was central to who she was, and she served her church faithfully in many ways over the years. She taught Sunday school with patience and care, sharing her love of God with younger generations and helping guide them in their faith. She also sang in the church choir, where her voice added warmth and joy to worship services and fellowship gatherings.
In her working years, Patricia was employed as a telephone operator for GTE. She carried out her work with professionalism and dedication, and she was respected for her dependable nature and pleasant manner.
Patricia also found joy in the simple and meaningful pleasures of life. She loved to bake, and her kitchen was often a place of comfort and care, filled with the aroma of homemade treats prepared for family and friends. Her baking, like so much else in her life, reflected the love she poured into the people around her.
She is survived by her sons, Doug Branson of Mishawaka, IN, and Jeffrey Beaudette of Sacramento, CA, as well as her grandson, Ryan Delchambre. She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Haas; her mother, Grace (Bostley) Hasley; her four sisters, Dorothy Haas, JoAnn Haas, Betty Haas, and Marvene Haas; and her brother, Gene Haas. Patricia cherished her family deeply, and her memory will remain a source of comfort and strength to those who knew and loved her.
No services will be held at this time. Patricia’s ashes will be interred at Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend, IN. Palmer Funeral Home—River Park Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
