Patrick James Baert

Patrick James Baert of Granger, IN passed away September 27, 2022 at Sidney & Lois Eskenazi Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana.  Patrick was born December 15, 1957 in South Bend, IN to Edgar and Josephine (Taghon) Baert who preceded him in Death.

Patrick was a lifelong resident of the area.  On November 28, 1987 he married Becky (Barnett) Baert in Mishawaka, IN who survives him.

Patrick was a CFO/Accountant for various companies, most recently for K&M Machine Fabricating, Inc in Cassopolis Michigan.  He earned his Bachelor’s degree from Indiana University South Bend.

Patrick is survived by his three Daughters, Elizabeth Baert of Indianapolis, IN, Emily Baert of Chicago, IL and Margaret Baert of Granger, IN; and his three Siblings, Pam Baert of Mishawaka, IN, Paula (Rob) Crook of Michigan and Perry (Katherine) Baert of Ohio.

Visitation for Patrick will be Saturday, October 8, 2022 from 2:00pm until 4:00pm at Palmer Funeral Home – Welsheimer North Chapel.  There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
