Paul Francis Myers

SOUTH BEND – Paul Francis Myers, 88, residing in South Bend, Indiana passed away Monday, October 14, 2019 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka.

Paul was born on June 19, 1931 in Mishawaka, IN to the late Clarence Myers and Agnes (Schibelhut) Myers, and has lived most of his life in this area.  Paul previously lived in Dearborn, MI for 20 years before returning to this area.  He attended Greene Township High School and later attended Our Lady of the Lake Seminary in Syracuse, Indiana. Paul worked as an accountant until retiring.  Paul was a kind and well-read man who loved dogs. He attended St. Anthony de Padua Catholic Church, South Bend.

Paul is survived by his brother, Louis Charles Myers of South Bend.  He is also survived by nieces and nephews, Lois Myers of South Bend, Suzie Storm of Bella Vista, AR, Michael L. (Donna) Myers of South Bend, Thomas J. (Juanita) Myers of Granger, Louanne (Rick) Grooms of South Bend and Gary (Susan) Grooms of Granger.  Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Agnes Myers; his sister and brother-in-law, Marianne (Donald) Grooms; his sister-in-law, Carolyn S. Myers (Louis’ wife), his nephew, Daniel Grooms and special friend, Mary Ann Peterson.

His final wishes were to be laid to rest at Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend, IN, where family will gather for private services.  Memorial contributions may be made to South Bend Lost and Found Pets, PO Box 3432, South Bend, IN 46628.
