Peggy Ann Amor, 80 years old, passed away at 4:40 a.m. on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Peggy was born on February 15, 1941 in Williamsport, IN to the late John H. and Mildred (Bowles) Fritter. She has lived most of her life in Plymouth. Peggy retired from Walmart in Plymouth where she was a cashier for 15 years. One of Peggy’s proudest moments was earning a 1st Place Championship Ribbon in the Open Class for a crocheted afghan rose garden in the Starke County Fair.
I’m Peggy is survived by her four children, Terry Amor of Plymouth, Shelly (Dan) Rader of Walland, TN, Hope (Ken) Carbiener of Bremen, and Troy Amor of Knox. She was also blessed to be a grandma of ten children; Terry’s children,Ashley Amor, Mindy Amor and Tara (Charles Smith) Amor; Shelly’s children, Courtney (Lolo) Marquina, Haley (Joe Norskov) Rader, and Lucas (Teriann) Rader; Hope’s children, Jay Carbiener and Amanda Carbiener; and Troy’s children, Travis (Elizabeth) Amor and Amber Amor. Peggy is also survived by three great grandchildren, Maya Marquina, Leo Marquina and Oliver Norskov; two sisters, Jenny Hummel of Greenwood, IN and Sue (John) Drews of Plymouth; and two brothers, Leland Fritter of Argos and Bill (Beth) Fritter of Plymouth. Many nieces, nephews and extended family also survive. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by two great grandchildren, Ryleeand Kendrick; her sister, Donna Jacobs; and her brother, Harold Fritter.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 10, 2021 at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Plymouth. Palmer Funeral Home, Lakeville is assisting the family.
