Randy A. Fish

Randall “Randy” A. Fish, 79, a lifelong resident of South Bend passed away on Monday November 14, 2023 at his home.

Randy was born on August 12, 1944 in South Bend to the late William and Margaret (Van Scoik) Fish. After graduation, Randy proudly served his country as a United States Marine.

Randy met Diana Zimmermann at St Joe bank in 1966 and in 1968 the two were married; together they have one son; Allan (Melanie) Fish.  Randy retired from Claey’s Candy.

Randy is an avid golfer.  He is a proud marine; “Once a Marine, always a Marine”.  He is a history fan, especially surrounding the civil war.  He also loves to read and is fond of penguins.  Randy especially loved spending time with his family. 

Randy is survived by his wife, Diana Fish, son: Allan (Melanie) Fish, grandchildren: Brittney Swinehart, Deanna Fish, Dylan (Haley) Fish, Ashley (Dan) Lybarger, Alexandria Fish, and Victoria Fish. Also surviving are 7 great-grandchildren.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents, his grandson; Brody Fish, and his brothers: William Sterling Fish, Manning Fish, and Jeffery Fish.

Funeral services for Randy will be held at 1pm on Monday November 20, 2023 at Emmaus Lutheran Church, 929 Milton St South Bend.  Burial will follow at Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Randy’s name to Pet Refuge or to Emmaus Lutheran Church.
