Richard Dale Croy

Richard Dale Croy, of Lakeville, passed away at his home on Saturday, October 16, 2021 with his family by his side at the age of 77.  Richard was born on April 22, 1944 in Culver, IN to the late John H. and Aletha (Feece) Croy.  Richard worked as an Ironworker.

On March 22, 1963 he was united in marriage to Evelyn Mann in Walkerton, IN.  Richard was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, he will be dearly missed by all that knew him.  Over the years he enjoyed bee keeping and tinkering on things around the house.  It could be said he was a jack of all trades with his extensive knowledge from computers to car engines, he could work on just about anything.

Richard is survived by his wife of 58 years, Evelyn, along with their sons, Michael Croy of Lakeville, and Jerry Croy of South Bend, 3 grandchildren, Christopher, Lucas, and Chelsea.  He also leaves behind his sister, Janice Croy of Florida and brother, John Croy of South Bend.  He was preceded in death by his sister, JoAnn Rudynski and brother, Robert Croy.

Memorial services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at Palmer Funeral Home within the Lakeville Community Complex, 601 N. Michigan Street, Lake Ville, IN 46536.  Friends may visit with the family from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
