Richard K. Krawczyk

Richard K. Krawczyk, 75, of South Bend passed away on Sunday June 14, 2026, at his home. Richard was born on January 25, 1951, in South Bend to the late Lucian and Helen (Merencis) Krawczyk.

After graduation Richard worked for Lock Joint Tube as a forklift driver.

 He is preceded in death by his late wife Beth Ellen Krawczyk, his brother Lucian Kracwcyk Jr., and his daughter Aaron Krawczyk. Then he remarried Susan Vanlue and have shared their lives together.

Richard loved Notre Dame, lighthouses, boxer dogs, watching football and drinking beer. Richard enjoyed mowing lawns until he was not able to.

 Richard is survived by his wife Susan Krawczyk, his children; Heather (John) Pollard and Richard Krawczyk Jr. as well as his step children; Paul Lau, Scott (Heather Lau), Julie (Ryan) Meisner, and his brothers Doug and George Krawczyk adoptive son Bill Troeger and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

 Visitation for Richard will be held from 10am-11am on Friday June 26, 2026, at Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan St. South Bend. A funeral service will begin at 11am and burial will follow at Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend.
