Robert Williams Obituary

Robert E. Williams, 81, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 11, 2026 at Sanctuary at Holy Cross, South Bend, IN. He was born on January 21, 1945 in Virginia.

Robert as affectionately known as “Cubbie” for his lifelong love of the Chicago Cubs. He was employed as a bakery assistant at Dainty Maid Bakery in downtown South Bend for many years.

No services will be held at this time. Robert ashes will be interred in the ossuary at Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend, IN. Palmer Funeral Home—River Park Chapel has been entrusted with his care.
