Robert A. Krusinski, Sr.

Robert A. Krusinski, Sr., residing in South Bend, passed away in the early morning hours of Sunday, April 11, 2021 in the comfort of his home.

He was born June 5, 1928 in South Bend, the son of the late Ignatius & Naomi E. (Davis) Krusinski, and has remained a lifelong resident of this community.

On June 2, 1951 in North Liberty, Bob was united in marriage to Mary Lou Kersh.  Together they enjoyed 64 years of marriage until her passing on October 30, 2015.

Bob was a lifelong farmer. He also worked as a school bus driver for the South Bend Community School Corp. and was co-owner with Mary Lou of Bob’s Repair Service.  He was a member of Maple Grove United Methodist Church, and North Liberty Lodge #266, F. & A.M.

Bob is survived by his two daughters, Linda (John) Goodspeed, and Debbie Goffinet, both of South Bend, and his son, Robert A. Krusinski, Jr. of West Lafayette, IN, along with seven grandchildren, Holly (Scott) Swartz, Heather Dickirson, Byron Goodspeed, Brishen Vanderkolk, Nathan (Danielle) Goffinet, Meri (Josh) Ciesiolka, and Adam Goffinet, and seventeen great-grandchildren.  Bob is also survived by his three sisters, Betty Hamilton of South Bend, Delores Huff of North Webster, IN; and Sharon (Dave) Vandewalle of South Bend.

Family and friends may gather from 4:00 – 6:30 p.m. Friday, April 16, at the Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan St., South Bend.

Services will begin at 6:30 p.m. Friday with North Liberty Lodge 266 conducting a masonic memorial service followed by a service with Rev. Bill Klempay of Maple Grove United Methodist Church leading a service.
