Robert M. Neiswender Jr.

Robert M. Neiswender Jr. 51, of South Bend passed away on Wednesday July 1, 2026, in Lapaz.

Robert was born on July 6, 1974, in South Bend to the late Robert Neiswender Sr. and Anna (McGowan) Cook.

Robert was a business owner of Long Branch Tree Service and loved everything about his job. He loved to fish in his spare time and was a loving dedicated father and husband.

He found peace among the trees, strength in hard work, and joy in the love of his family. Though he has climbed his last tree, his love remains deeply rooted in the hearts of all who knew him. His legacy will continue to grow through his wife, his children and all whose lives he touched.

Robert was blessed to share his life with the love of his life, Shelly Six. After 20 years together, they were married in October of 2014, continuing the lifelong partnership they had built together for another 12 cherished years.

Robert is survived by his wife, Shelly, his children; Jacci (Joseph) Neiswender, Kimberlyn (Dane) Neiswender, and Kaleb Neiswender along with his grandchildren; Kaiden, Aries, Ryland, Liam, and his siblings; Misty Burrow and Shane Neiswender.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents.

A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
