Robert “Bob” T. Pulliam, Jr. of South Bend, was taken from us on Sunday, March 5, 2023 at the age of 62. He was born on February 13, 1961 in Niles, MI to the late Robert Thomas and Judith Irene (Eichorn) Pulliam.
Bob was a proud United States Marine Corp Veteran, serving from 1979-1982. He was also a member of the Ironworkers Union and an executive board member for a local stage workers union. He worked most of his life as an Ironworker but loved his time working with the local stage workers union. He would assist in rigging lights for many shows at the Morris Performing Arts Center, and different venues around town. Bob would give someone the shirt off his back and had such a huge heart. Being a huge outdoorsman, he loved to go camping and fishing, along with taking trips with his family to Manistee National Forest where they would kayak down Pine River. His greatest joy these days came from spending time with his daughter and grandchildren.
Surviving is his daughter, Delaney (Doug Lembke) Pulliam of Buchanan, along with 6 grandchildren, Savannah and Aaron Conrad, Trent Davidson, Zsara, Nova and Thane Lembke. Bob is also survived by his brothers, Mark Pulliam of Indiana and his children, Taylor, Trenton, Kamryn Pulliam, David Pulliam of Michigan and his daughter, Nastassja Pulliam and her daughter, Kirsikka BJerke, and Steve (Elaine) Pulliam of Oregon and his sons, Micheal Plueard and Robert Neal Jr., and his sisters, Daquiri (Rick) Champion of Florida and Becky Pulliam of Florida.
In keeping with his wishes, cremation will take place and the family will hold a Celebration of Life at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 25, 2023 in front of the Morris Performing Arts Center at 211 North Michigan Street, South Bend.
