Robert E. Turnage

Robert E. Turnage, 69, of Mishawaka, IN., passed away at 6:45 a.m. Saturday, December 4, 2021 in his residence after an illness with his family by his side.

Robert was born on October 24, 1952 in South Bend, IN., to Jessie E. and Gladys (Brown) Turnage, who both have preceded him in death.

On February 25, 1975 in South Bend, Robert married Roberta L. Miller.

Roberta survives along with a son, Jason E. (Kristen) Turnage of South Bend, four grandchildren; Isabell, Aubrey, Brooklyn, and Roman, two sisters; Marie (James) Cleveland of Ohio and Linda (Larry) Paul of Florida, three nieces; Peggy Cleveland MacCurdy, Debby Cleveland Miller, and Laura Paul Weller, two nephews; James Cleveland Jr., and Loren Michael Paul.

Robert retired from A M General after 31 years of service and he enjoyed disc golf and he was an avid hunter and fisherman.

A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, December 11, from 3:00 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. at the Palmer Funeral Home – Bubb Chapel, 3910 N. Main Street, Mishawaka. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
