Roger D. Cave

Roger D. Cave, 86, passed away at 11am on Thursday, October 14, 2021, in Heritage Pointe.

Roger was born on September 29, 1935, in North Manchester, IN to the late Milford and Cora Pauline (Wentland) Cave. Roger was also preceded in death by his sisters, Maralee Mauk and Kathleen Cave, and his brother, Jerry Joe Cave.

On July 27, 1963, in Buchanan, MI, Roger married Sunny D. (Stephan). She survives along with daughters, Christine Hillebrand and Paula J. Cave; his brothers, Terry (Leona) Cave, William Cave, and Rex Cave; sisters, Doris Bueche, Freida Soto, Barbara Cave, and Colleen Cave; grandchildren, Brandon Ferguson, Jamie Ferguson, Tiffany Ferguson, Mark Hillebrand Jr., Heather Hillebrand, Samantha Smith, and Tori Stover; 15 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Roger was employed by the City of Mishawaka for 47 years and served as the Superintendent of the Electrical Department. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, and traveling.

Visitation will be 1-3pm on Sunday, October 17, 2021, at Palmer Funeral Home – Bubb Chapel, 3910 N. Main Street, Mishawaka, IN 46545. There will be no Funeral Services.
