Ronald J. Clymer

Ronald J. Clymer, age 79, of South Bend, Indiana, passed away on January 24, 2026. He was born on June 15, 1946, in South Bend, Indiana, to the late DeForest Clymer Sr. and Opal (Singleton) Clymer.

Ronald was deeply loved by his family and cherished the time spent together and the memories they shared. He valued his family relationships and enjoyed being surrounded by those closest to him. A devoted Notre Dame fan, Ronald took great pride in following the Fighting Irish.

He is survived by his sisters, Marlene (Robert) Pendergrass and Collene Brady; his brother, DeForest (Carol) Clymer; his niece, Marlene (James) Nelson; his nephew, Earl Gardner; and cousins Ron (Courtney) Pendergrass.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Larry Clymer; and his brother-in-law, Robert Brady.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Palmer Funeral Home – Hickey Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at 12:00 noon, also at the funeral home. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger, Indiana.
