MISHAWAKA – Ronald Paul Cooper, 77, residing in Mishawaka, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at Creekside Village Nursing Home, Mishawaka.

Ronald was born on March 4, 1938 in Maysville, Kentucky to the late Otto Cooper and Nellie (Beckett) Cooper and has been a lifelong resident of this area.

On April 11, 1987 in Bremen, Indiana, he was united in marriage to Julie (Uldin) Cooper.  Ronald and Julie have been married for 28 wonderful years.  Ronald was a manager for 25 years with the Western Southern Life Insurance Company.  He was a hard worker; selling cars and working for several security companies after his retirement.  The joy of his life was spending time with his family.  He enjoyed fishing and shooting guns with his good friend, Keith.  He also enjoyed working on motorcycles, cars, and boats.  Ron had a great love for animals, especially his three cats, Brady, Sugar, and Sammy.

Ronald is survived by his wife, Julie Cooper of Mishawaka; daughters, Joelle Dieringer and Kimberly Bonds both of Mishawaka; sons, Tim (Deeana) Marshall of Winona Lake, IN, Mark (Kim) Marshall of Mentone, IN, and Jeff (Rebecca) Cooper of Goshen, IN; stepdaughter, Vicky Rodgers; nine grandchildren, Anna, Katherine, Chase, Jay, Caitlin, Ashley, Tyler, Kirsten and Brandon ; one great-grandchild, Ava; sister, Elaine (Duane) Schafer; several nieces and nephews; special friend, Keith Bruce; and his cats, Brady, Sugar, and Sammy.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, Otto and Nellie Cooper; son, Scott Snodgrass; and grandson, Jordan Snodgrass.
