Ronald Frick

Ronald E. “Ron” Frick, 71 years old, passed away unexpectedly, surrounded by family, on Thursday afternoon, September 21, 2023 at Bay Care Hospital, New Port Richey, FL.  Ron was born on November 22, 1951 in South Bend to the late Clarence L. and Dolores J. (Thomas) Frick.  On June 29, 1974 in South Bend, Ron and Mari Rau were united in marriage.

He has lived in South Bend most of his life, moving to Lawton, MI and Port Richey, FL in October 2016.

Along with Mari, his loving wife of 49 years, Ron is survived by their two sons, Ryan (Amy) Frick of Arvada, CO and Branden (Amy) Frick of Kansas City, MO; three grandchildren, Evynn, Kole and Miles; sister, Deanna Culp of South Bend; and brother, Don (Renae) Frick of South Bend., as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.  Along with his parents, Ron was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Patrick Culp.

Ron is a 1970 graduate of Andrew Jackson High School and attended IUSB. 

Ron retired as a grocery manager of Martin’s Supermarket where he worked for 37 years. 

A service celebrating the life of Ron Frick will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at the Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan Street, South Bend.  The service will begin at 2:00 p.m. and friends may visit with the family beginning at 12:00 p.m.
