Russell W. Akridge

Russell W. Akridge, age 55, passed away Wednesday evening in South Bend.  He had previously worked for Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka.  Russell was born June 23, 1967 in Warsaw, Indiana to the late Walter and Joyce (Tinsley) Akridge and lived in this area most of his life. 

Russell is survived by a daughter, Cristal and a son, David, a sister, Teresa Brown of Mishawaka and a brother Michael (Juanita) Akridge of Tennessee, six nieces, Dannielle, Valerie, Jesse, Courtney, Kristen and Tiffany, four nephews, Joe, James, Jeffrey, and Raymond, two great nieces, Anya and JoyAnn and one great nephew, Shawn.

Cremation will take place and graveside services will take place at a later date in Westlawn Cemetery, North Liberty, Indiana, next to his parents.  Russell was kind and had many friends; true friends who stuck by his side.
