SanJuana Sanchez De Hernandez

SanJuana Sanchez De Hernandez, age 70, passed away November 19, 2021. She was born December 8, 1950 in Torreon Coahuila, Mexico, the daughter of Monico and Francisca Sanchez. In March of 1971, she married Gabino Hernandez. Gabino and SanJuana were blessed with six children.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Monico and Francisca, husband, Gabino, three children, Jose G, SanJuanita, and Leonor as well as her nephews.

She is survived by her other three children Juan M, Antonio and Amparo (Enrique) Jaramillo as well as eight grandchildren, Cesar, Luis, Marco, Wendy, Cristoval, Berenice, Ariadna, and Sabastian and two great-grandchildren, Mia and Isabella. SanJuana was the oldest daughter and is survived by her ten siblings, Maxi (Benja), Nicolas (Natalia), Jesus (Eluira), Sara (Edilberto), Onoria, Rosendo, Francisco (Ivon), Luz (Trino), Estela (Idel), Monico and several nieces and nephews.

SanJuana loved cooking – not only for her children and family – for everybody. She loved gardening and making beautiful blankets.

Palmer Funeral Home–Guisinger Chapel is handling the arrangements for the family. Friends may visit with the family at Centro Familiar Christian, located at 320 Lake Street in South Bend on Tuesday, November 23 beginning at 6 pm. The funeral service will take place Wednesday, November 24 at 11 am at Centro Familiar Christian with visitation at 10 am until the time of the service.
