Sandra K. (Baughman) Goff

Sandra K. Goff, 78 years old, passed away at 6:25 p.m. on Sunday, February 12, 2023 at the home of her daughter in Walkerton.  Sandra was born on July 25, 1944 in Plymouth to the late Ralph and Rachel (Surface) Baughman.  She has lived in our local area all of life with the exception of living in Arizona for ten years with her husband after retirement.  On November 9, 1963 in Elkhart, Sandra and Gordon S. Goff were united in marriage. 

Along with Gordon, her loving husband of 59 years, Sandra is survived by her daughter, Beth Santana of Walkerton; two sons, Greg (Rose) Goff of Kansas City, MO and Bruce (Penny) Goff of LaPorte; four grandchildren, Staci (Dustin) Singleton, Angela (Derick Garl) Santana, Aaron Santana, and Jeffery (the late Amber) Goff; and ten great grandchildren, Forest, Bennett, Bentley, Ryleigh, Keegan, Mackenzie, Violet, Charlotte, Maverick, and Lennon.  Sandra is also survived by her brother, Duwaine (Marlene) Baughman of North Liberty.  Along with her parents and granddaughter-in-law, she was preceded in death by her sister, Joyce Hostetler. 

Sandra was a member of the Star Neighborhood Club in Greene Township.  She formerly attended Canyon Springs Baptist Church. Sandra retired in 2001 from Lov’n Wood Manufacturing in the purchasing department.  She enjoyed spending time with friends and family. She had a multitude of hobbies including adult coloring, swedish weaving, cross stitch and jewelry making. She loved to travel with her husband visiting family and friends across the country, not only in their travel trailer but by motorcycle.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at the Palmer Funeral Home, within the Palmer Community Complex, 601 N. Michigan Street, Lakeville.  Graveside services and burial will follow at Sumption Prairie Cemetery, South Bend.  Friends may visit with the family from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.  Friends may also visit with the family beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday.
