Sandra Kiggins Obituary

Sandra Lee Kiggins, 79, passed away at Holy Cross Long-Term Care facility on Saturday September 19, 2020. 

She was born on May 12, 1941 in Cassopolis, Michigan to the late Carol & Pauline (Everding) Beckwith and was a lifelong resident of the Southwest Michigan area.  She was married to Walter D. Kiggins on 11/10/58 who preceded her in death in 2006.

Sandra was a graduate of Cassopolis High School and worked most of her life in the automobile industry.  Sandra was loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister with a wonderful sense of humor and loved her family with all her heart.  

Sandra is survived by her daughter Sally Walter of Mishawaka, along with her granddaughters; Paula Walter of Florida, and Pamala (Steven) Riggs of Watervliet, MI.  She will also be missed by her four great-grandchildren; Tommy Sando, Kassandra Riggs, Taven Riggs, and Alexa Pierce.  Sandra also leaves behind her sister; Katherin (Earl) Kelso of Granger, IN., and brothers; James (Bonnie) Beckwith of Niles, MI., and Harley McCully of Cassopolis, MI.  Along with her parents and husband Sandra is preceded in death by her sister Betty Potter and brother Ronald Beckwith.

Graveside serves will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 24, 2020 at Crane Cemetery, 21001 Crane St. Dowagiac, Michigan, 49047.  Pastor Brian Hall will be officiating.
