Sandra L. (Anders) Tetzlaff

Sandra L. Tetzlaff, 82 years old, passed away at 9:35 a.m. on Friday, January 15, 2021 at her home.  Sandy was born on January 3, 1939 in Bremen, IN to the late Edward and Alberta (Frick) Anders.  She has lived most of her life in our local area.  On June 18, 1955 in Mishawaka, Sandy and Allen D. Tetzlaff were united in marriage.  Sandy worked for over 15 years in Lakeville at the Hometowner Restaurant and Skeeter’s Restaurant.  

Along with Allen, her loving husband of 65 years, Sandy is survived by their children, Karen K. Tetzlaff of Lakeville, Allen E. (Pamela) Tetzlaff of Walkerton, and Larry D. (Cindy) Tetzlaff of Walkerton; nine grandchildren, Megan (Chad) Baker, Bethany Murray, Stephanie (Dennis) Purdue, Tharra Tetzlaff, Chris (Keli) Tetzlaff, Cassie (Ryan) Lamirand, Chad (Amber) Tetzlaff, Ashley (Josh) Greisinger, and Shelby (Chad) Sellers; and twelve great grandchildren, Travis, Charlie, Chloe, Cambria, Kinley, Caden, Sarah, Brenden, Reign, Elijah, Alexia, and Ayva.  Sandy is also survived by two sisters, Eleanor Revis of Dowagiac, MI and Pamela (Dale) Becker of Random Lake, WI; and one brother, Kenny Anders of South Bend.  She was preceded in death by her grandchild, Edward Murray; great grandchild, Addean; sister, Barbara McMillen; and brother, Donald Anders.  

Friends may visit with the Tetzlaff family from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at the Palmer Funeral Home, within the Palmer Community Complex, 601 N. Michigan Street, Lakeville.  A private burial will follow at Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be donated to the Tetzlaff family, c/o Palmer Funeral Home, 3718 S.
