Sarah Ann Whittenburg, age 83, passed away on February 3, 2026, in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was an only child, born to Robert and Wilhelmina LaFollette on August 14, 1942. Sarah was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Whittenburg. She is survived by her daughter, Marci (Peter) Harris; her son, Mark (Dawn) Whittenburg; five grandchildren, Robert (Dani), Rebecca (Yago), and Caleb (Aurora) Harris, and Jessica and Thomas Whittenburg; and two great-grandchildren, Elliott and Elowyn.
Sarah was a committed Christian and loved Jesus for all her days. A graduate of Ball State University with a degree in education, she worked alongside her husband, Ralph, in accounting for the People of Praise in South Bend, Indiana. She took special care in providing hospitality for many guests.
A graveside service and burial will be held at 1:00 on February 20, 2026, at New Carlisle Cemetery in New Carlisle, Indiana.
