Sarah DeBoe Obituary

Sarah Elizabeth, 40, resided in South Bend, IN and unexpectedly passed away at Memorial Hospital on March 1, 2021.   At the time of her death, family and her first friend in life, her cousin, Alicia DeBoe, surrounded Sarah.

Sarah was born in Germany to parents Samuel and Susan DeBoe (Stoneking).  As Sarah grew, she was also blessed with two bonus parents, Nannette DeBoe and Steven Stoneking.   All parents survive, along with sister, Teresa DeBoe (Kevin Molloy) and many nieces and nephews who lovingly referred to her as Aunty Sarah.

Sarah’s love for God never wavered even during the difficult times in her life.  She lived with the constant reassurance by her Dad that she belonged to God.   Sarah knew her time on earth was temporary and that her real home was waiting with our Heavenly Father.  Today we can rejoice that Sarah is walking with God.

Sarah was a selfless person who always put others before herself.  Sarah had a love for animals, which brought joy to her life.   Sarah was a history buff who enjoyed a good discussion and welcomed political debates.  Above all, Sarah had a strong love for her family and often was the first to tell them she loved them.  She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt and cousin who will be deeply missed.
