Sharon Kay (Rasmussen) Brown

Sharon Kay Brown, born on September 7, 1942, in South Bend, Indiana, passed away on April 10, 2024, in Mishawaka, Indiana.

She was a beacon of love and joy to all who knew her, especially cherished by her devoted children Barbara (James) Patterson and Roy Brown. Sharon walked through life with grace and kindness, leaving behind a legacy of compassion and unwavering support for her family, which included her four beloved bonus grandchildren which one preceded her in death and three cherished bonus great-grandchildren.

A true lover of animals, Sharon's heart held a special place for her fur babies and grand fur babies, Gabby, Bella, and Sebastian.

Sharon is now reunited with her late mother, Karin (Pedersen) Rasmussen, father, James Rasmussen, and her loving husband, James Brown, in eternal rest.

Services for Sharon will be held at 11:00am, April 16, 2024, at Palmer Funeral Homes – Welsheimer North Chapel, 17033 Cleveland St., South Bend, IN 46635 with visitation one hour prior to the service. Friends may also visit with the family from 4:00pm – 7:00pm Monday, April 15, 2024, at the funeral home. Burial will immediately follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
