Shawn J. Bowen

Shawn J. Bowen, of Lakeville, passed away at his home on Friday, June 24, 2022 at the age of 45. He was born on March 14, 1977 in South Bend to Dennis and Elizabeth (Lavelle) Bowen who survive and remained a lifelong resident of the area.

Along with his parents, Shawn is survived by his fishing buddy, son, Chase Bowen of Lakeville, brother, Jason (Amanda) Bowen of North Liberty and his nephew, Blake Bowen.

Shawn was a proud father and loved spending time with his son, taking him fishing at Potato Creek or mushroom hunting. He enjoyed doing everything outdoors related and was a member of the Lakeville Conservation Club.

The family will be holding a Celebration of Life from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at Lakeville Conservation Club, 67749 Lake Trail, Lakeville, In 46536, private burial was held at Southlawn Cemetery.
