Stephen J. Balint

Stephen J. Balint, 54 years old, passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at his home.  Stephen was born on December 17, 1964 in South Bend to the late Richard and Anne (Steinhoffer) Balint.  He has been a lifelong resident.  Stephen was a ticket taker at the University of Notre Dame for the past 23 years.

Stephen is survived by his two brothers, Michael (Maria) Balint of South Bend and John (Jennifer) Balint of Longview, TX; nieces and nephews, Terry Rodriguez, Gregory (Jessica) Balint, Kristopher Balint, Joseph Balint and Dominic Balint; and a great niece, Ashlynn Marie Balint.  Along with his parents, Stephen was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Balint, Jr.

A memorial service will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, November 11, 2019 at the Palmer Funeral Home, Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan Street, South Bend.  Pastor Greg Crump will officiate.  Friends may visit with the family after 5:30 p.m. on Monday.  A graveside service will also be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 12th, at Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend.
