Stephen P. Thomas

Stephen P. Thomas, residing in Lakeville, IN; passed away at 5:33 p.m. Thursday, November 17, 2022 at Memorial Hospital of South Bend following a brief illness.

He was born August 25, 1956 in Toronto, Canada, a son of Stanley E. & Joyce (Cottam) Thomas, and has lived in the South Bend area since 1959, coming from Canada.

Stephen was the Vice President of Acoustic Audio Services in South Bend, having worked with his father, and his brother and sister as well for 47 years.

He is survived by his sister, Linda (Wayne) Murphy of Lakeville, and his brother, Wayne (Karin) Thomas also of Lakeville, along with seven nieces and nephews, and many friends

He was preceded in death by his mother Joyce on October 15, 1991, his father Stanley on January 7, 2011, along with his brother Stanley Thomas Jr. on April 5, 1966.

He was a graduate of Jackson High School, and received an associates degree from Ivy Tech.

He took extraordinary care of his hearing-impaired patients. In his free time, he enjoyed feeding the birds, playing his piano, his windjammer cruises, and riding his motorcycle with his friends.

Private services for Stephen will take place on Friday, November 25, 2022.

He will be laid to rest with his parents at Southlawn Cemetery.  The Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel is assisting the Thomas family with arrangements.
