Steven (Charlie) Flaim, age 30, of South Bend, Indiana, passed away on January 22, 2026, in South Bend. He was born on January 23, 1995, to the late Steven Flaim and Joyce (Komp) Flaim.
Steven was preceded in death by his parents, Steven Flaim and Joyce (Komp) Flaim.
He is survived by his brothers, Joseph Keltz, Jason Keltz, and Dustin Wisniewski; his sister, Kathryn Flaim; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Steven lived a life marked by both struggle and heart. He faced many challenges, yet remained deeply loved by those around him. He was a social person with a natural sense of humor, often making others laugh and feel at ease. Those who knew him will remember his familiar quirks, including his well-known peanut butter and oatmeal mix, and the moments of light he brought into everyday life. Steven’s life was complex, but his presence mattered, and he will be remembered for the connections he shared and the love that surrounded him.
In accordance with the family’s wishes, Steven will be cremated. A memorial visitation will be held from 4-6 pm followed by a service on Friday, February 6, 2026, at Palmer Funeral Homes – Hickey Chapel
