Steven A. Ritenour, 70, residing in Plymouth, passed away at his home on Sunday, November 22, 2020. He was born to the late Virginia (Thomas) and Elmer E. Ritenour on February 15, 1950 in Bremen, IN and remained a lifelong resident of the area. Steven worked as a diesel mechanic for Whiteford Kenworth in South Bend.
On June 26, 1970 he married Jackey Sinders and this year they celebrated 50 years together. Steven was a huge Nascar and Chicago Cubs fan, and was a huge animal lover and especially loved his dogs. In his earlier years he enjoyed spending time in his garden.
Steven is survived by his wife Jackey, his daughter Dawn (Bill) Snyder of Plymouth. He also leaves behind his two grandchildren, Zachary Keyser, and Katelynn Keyser. Also surviving is his sister, Patty (Dave) Kuder of Plymouth, and brother, Jack Ritenour of LaPaz. Steven was preceded in death by his brothers, Terry Ritenour and Michael Ritenour.
There will be no services held at this time. The family will be holding a celebration of life at a later date. Palmer Funeral Home – Lakeville Complex and Southlawn Cremation Services are assisting the family with arrangements.
