It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Steven Vaughn age 70, of Osceola, who transitioned into the loving arms of his savior, Jesus Christ on June 27. Steven was the beloved son of Joyce Vaughn and the late Sanford Vaughn Jr. Steven was deceased by his wife Sherry Vaughn.
He is lovingly survived by his Mother, Joyce Vaughn, and his sister, Carol Vaughn. Steven proudly served his country as a United States Marine for six years. Following his military service, he dedicated many years to the Osceola Post Office, where he retired as a postal clerk. He was known for his commitment to service, his quiet strength, and his steadfast character.
After a Courageous battle with cancer, Steven passed peacefully at the Center of Hospice Care, Esther's House. Steven will be deepest missed by his family, friends, former colleagues and whose lives he touched. His legacy of service, perseverance, and faith will continue to live on in the hearts who loved him.
A life of celebration of Steven's life and burial will be held a later date. Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel is honored to serve the family. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.palmerfuneralhomes.com
